Hey everyone! After spring break, I cannot stop thinking about how I am going to build my spring wardrobe!
Here are a few pieces that I have been using for inspiration after seeing what was worn during the break. In addition, Fashion Week has featured great winter-to-spring transition items. Make sure to check out the links to these items, located in the galleries below each collage.
Tops
Honestly, a top is my favorite part of any outfit. At the moment, I have been loving more minimalistic looks. I enjoy how classic a minimal look can be, just because of the austere nature that comes with it. While I do enjoy how elegant this can be, I never want to feel basic. I tend to lean more toward intricate tops, or a unique color palette. I love the low key messy/breezy vibe that has been seen all over the runway, and I think that the types of tops shown below can be easily styled that way. Check out these tops!

Bottoms
This spring, I have seen less shorter length and more floor-length pants on the runway. Vice versa with skirts – longer rather than shorter. I have featured all kinds of options below, but personally I am leaning more into longer pants and skirts. It is easy to transition into the spring season, and there are so many different ways you can style them with fun tops! That being said, I am really enjoying silk. I think it looks classy, and it makes for a minimalistic look with a little bit of sheen to it. I have also been seeing a lot of denim along with bold colored pants during Fashion Week. Bottom line, I am loving colored denim, and I think there are so many great options to choose from this season. Make sure you check out the links for these bottoms!

Dresses
I am liking a wide variety of different dresses this spring season. You can obviously see I am loving green, white/cream, and pink. I am into anything that feels light, hence, all of the silk. I feel like you can take a dress in any direction you want, meaning that they are easy to style in multiple different ways. When it comes to styling a dress, I see a lot of nonchalant, laid back looks. I see these on the runway and in daily life. We all know it is easy to stay casual, so I am sure that this is a sigh of relief for many. Below, I have linked some of these spring dresses.

Shoes
There are so many shoe options to try this spring! I am loving the loafer trend, and I think slip on loafers make for a unique spring look. They are not as bulky, but light and easy, like spring! When it comes to heels and sandals, I am loving a thong sandal/flip-flop. I also have been favoring a square toe, rather than a round one. As I call them, the “boat” shoes have been in since last summer, but I think they are still going to be worn this year. I think that a more elevated version, like the cloud ones shown below, can be worn in so many different ways and are extremely functional. The pool, a casual dinner, walking on the beach… They are great for so many reasons! I am also a big closed-toe shoe girl, so I will be wearing sneakers throughout the year. I linked some New Balances below that can easily transition from spring, to summer, to fall. The shoe links are posted below!
